May 7th – May 29th, 2009 Statewide “The artwork coming from the high school students is astounding in quality,” says Catherine Politopoulos, Curator for the Art Museum of Los Gatos. “We are delighted to give these students the opportunity to showcase their work in a serious venue, and the juried competition adds an extra challenge.” Juror Peter Langenbach, well-known sculptor, past Museum exhibitor and former teacher will chose First, Second and Third Place prizewinners in five categories: ceramics, drawing, painting, photography, and sculpture.
