The painting of Steamers Grill (left) will exhibit in the Bar/Lobby of Steamers Grill One Afternoon / Evening Only, from 4:00 pm until closing, on Fri Sept 3rd
Riki R Nelson will be on hand sketching the bar, and answering questions from 3:30 to at least 5:30.
Although there will be No complimentary refreshment at this particular event, Steamer's offers a fantastic, moderately priced menu, an incredible wine list, and a full bar (reservations are recommended if you plan on dining) for more info, visit the Steamers web site. http://www.steamers-restaurant.com/
If you are a fan of this artist's major portrait work, this is a chance for you to see the piece "up close and personal" and speak with artist, outside of a gallery setting, and along side the actual subject depicted in the piece.

A "Champagne and Goodies" Artist reception, will be held Oct. 9th at the Los Gatos Company gallery to celebrate an exhibit that will feature all of the artist's newest, never before shown work. Artist Champagne afternoon reception Oct. 9th 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Los Gatos Company gallery
In addition to the Steamers Grill Bar Scene there will be a collection of small semi abstract oil paintings of Down Town Los Gatos at night, San Francisco street scenes, and the Santa Cruz and Monterey Yacht Harbors. Opens Oct 1st. - An exhibit of new, never before shown oil paintings by artist Riki R. Nelson featuring small abstract-expressionist pieces of Los Gatos at night and previewing a rare, large Bar Scene painting, using both impressionism and classical realism, depicting a scene from last years Halloween Ball at the Steamers Grill in Los Gatos.
